MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard) is a medium density fibreboard made of wood fibers.
It is the basic material for the production of furniture and interior finishing products such as decorative moldings,
wall panels, etc. The production of MDF boards began in South America in the 1960s. The MDF name comes from the target density of fiberboard, which ranges from 1100 kg / m³ to 3600 kg / m³ .
It is worth noting that the subjective density of the board depends on the density of the fibers that were used to
make it. A thick MDF with a density above 4000 kg / m³ can already be considered as HDF. An example of the use of MDF boards are our Openwork Decorative Panels
